Amazing location, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening, having a wine and looking down on the restaurants and beautiful street. Stresa is a lovely charming town with plenty of restaurants, shops, couple of bars and laid back vibe. The staff in the hotel were great, so friendly and accommodating. We ended up staying an extra night as we were having such a good time. Breakfast was grand, fresh fruit, croissants etc. Staff worked very hard. My room was clean, spacious and a lovely big shower. I think I had one of the newer or renovated rooms. My friend was in the room next door and hers was lovely too but just a bit dated compared to mine. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back.

Great location near the ferry and train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, well maintained and a good size. Very comfortable mattress. Good variety for breakfast: cold cuts, bread, yogurt, fruit, breads, cake, hard boiled eggs.

The hotel was very clean, basic facilities but perfect for what we needed. The hottie staff were lovely. The breakfast was continental style and had good choices. The rooms were nice and cool and we had a balcony with a lovely view of the street below. The hotel is situated in a Excellent location in a lovely street surrounded by restaurants, bars and little souvenir stores. A sort 150m walk to the beautiful lake Maggiore. The location was extremely convenient for taxi's, boat cruises, boat taxi services and the puff and billy tourist train very close by. Stresa is a beautiful place with everything you need for a long weekend. Loved it. Restaurant Lago Maggiore is well worth a visit, the staff were brilliant and the food was very good. It is very close to the hotel. Also the wine bar outside the hotel Al Buscion was perfect for a few drinks while you chat and watch the world go by.

Good value hotel in excellent location, right in the old town. Plenty of cafe’s, bars, restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the lake ferries terminal.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and very courteous. Alberto, Rafaella, Davide, and Monica should all be praised, and the cleaning staff did a superior job also. I have probably missed some staff members, but i commend everyone. In addition, the entire building and our room was immaculate at all times. Well done!

The hotel was in a fantastic location just a two minute walk to the lake and set amongst beautiful shops bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful especially the lady who was on breakfast duty. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and the hotel had a restaurant next door which was very good. Our room was on the fourth floor served by a lift. We overlooked the bell tower which was stunning and woke us at 8am which we found enchanting. House keeping we’re also very good.

The hotel is in a great location for wandering around Stresa. Despite this, it was really quiet at night. Even the nearby church bells wait until 8am to chime. The staff were always present and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied, tasty and plentiful. We really appreciated being allowed early access to it on our last day when we had a very early start.

Great location for exploring Stresa and neighbouring park val grande. Good selection at breakfast with healthy options. Free street parking in most of Stresa - not too difficult to find somewhere nearby.

When we arrived they'd made a mistake on what room we had booked. Reception lady could not sort it out and the Manager came who was extremely rude! The room we had booked was occupied, so he gave us a Villa up the road from the hotel which was very nice. His manner was awful!
